John Cotten

Broker Associate/Sales Director

AUSTIN – With 20+ years of home sales experience, John Cotten is a skilled negotiator and effective communicator. He has a natural ability to make all his clients feel like they are family.  He credits that to his upbringing and small-town values that have translated into a genuine interest in his clients.   John learned the value of hard work and entrepreneurship when he owned his own landscaping company in Austin.  He then went on to work in sales for leading housing and brokerage companies in the 1990s and 2000s.  He obtained his broker’s license in 2007 and has worked extensively in resale homes, foreclosures, new construction, and investment properties.  He works with both buyers and sellers and has based a large part of his business on referrals from past clients. John enjoys watching the Longhorns and Cowboys, any chance he gets to go fishing on the coast, and traveling with his family.
