Austin Real Estate Market Report
According to the latest Central Texas Housing Market Report released by the Austin Board of REALTORS® this week, for only the second time in 2016 the sales volume for single-family home sales declined in the Central Texas area. A little more than 4,200 single-family homes were sold in July this year, a decrease of 3.1 percent compared to the previous July.
However, the report also noted that the median price for single-family home sales in the five-county metro area was $285,000 in July, a 5.6 percent increase compared to the same month in 2015. Read the full report from the Austin Board of Realtors.
